Transactions

.01

I purchased an item, and it did not deliver. What do I do?

If the item you purchased was not delivered, or if you declined it by mistake, use the redelivery terminal in our mainstore. If the item does not appear on your redelivery page, make sure the transaction was processed. You can check this on the Second Life website transaction page. If neither suggestion works, please get in touch with our CSRs via notecard.

.02

I have purchased an item I already own. Can I get a refund?

Yes. Send a notecard to our CSRs with the most recent transaction and any other information you have. If the original or second purchase was a gift, please include the full name of the person who sent you the gift (SL name, not display name). Please title your notecard: Double Purchase Refund [your name].

.03

I accidentally purchased something I do not want. Can I get a refund?

All sales are final, as all items are 'No Transfer', so they cannot be returned. All products are clearly named and include demos. Please demo before purchasing as we cannot give you a refund.

.04

I changed my mind after buying something. Can I exchange it?

Exchanges are not possible, as all items are 'No Transfer'. They cannot be moved between accounts or swapped after purchase. Please demo before buying.

.05

I forgot to wear my group tag. Can I still get group credit?

Group credit is applied at the moment of purchase only. We cannot apply it after the fact. Make sure your LeLutka group tag is active before you click Buy.

Evolution support

.01

My face is animating uncontrollably.

This is almost never a head issue. Another attachment is sending animation permissions to your head bones. Remove all attachments except your head and body, then reset your skeleton from Appearance > Reset > Reset Skeleton and Animations. Add items back one at a time to find the culprit.

.02

Why do facial expressions sometimes look a bit stiff?

This is a Second Life platform limit, not something we can fully solve at the head level. Animations in Second Life can only rotate bones. They cannot move (translate) or scale them. Second Life also does not support blend shapes, which are the standard way modern 3D software drives realistic facial expressions.

A natural smile involves the cheeks lifting, the eyes narrowing, the lips stretching, all at the same time. Without blend shapes or scaling, the depth of expression that can be rendered is genuinely capped. Our animators work within those rules and keep refining the rig as the platform evolves. The outer limit is set by Second Life itself, not by us.

.03

My skin looks distorted, with textures in the wrong places.

Your head mode does not match your skin type. An EvoX skin requires EvoX mode. A classic SL skin requires Evo mode. Toggle this in the Head tab of the HUD.

.04

There is a visible line between my head and body.

Your head skin and body skin need to match in tone. Refer to your body's manual for the correct neck blend setting, and turn off any mesh neck blender on the body. If a slight seam persists, third-party neck blend layers from stores like Izzies can help.

.05

Why does my face look shiny or metallic?

Open your LeLutka HUD, go to the Head tab, and move the Environment slider all the way to the left. If the face still looks wrong, click the word BLANK next to Materials in the same tab.

.06

My HUD is not responding.

Check whether you are in a location where scripts are disabled. Go to the LeLutka mainstore or a sandbox to test. If the HUD still does not work, detach the head and the HUD, wait a moment, then reattach both. If the problem persists, get a fresh copy through redelivery.

.07

Where do I buy a LeLutka head?

Exclusively at the LeLutka mainstore inworld. Any listing on the SL Marketplace claiming to sell LeLutka heads is a scam.

PURE support

.01

When is PURE launching?

We are working on a new line of heads focused on improved realism and technical architecture. We will share confirmed timelines when we are ready.

.02

Will my Evolution head stop working when PURE launches?

No. Evolution will remain available. We do not remove features people have paid for. PURE is an addition to the range, not a replacement.

.03

Do I need to buy a new head when PURE launches?

No. Evolution remains supported and your existing setup will continue to work. PURE is a new option for those who want it, not a required upgrade.

.04

How much will PURE cost?

It is too early to confirm pricing. When we have details to share, we will announce them through our usual channels.

N°V · CONTENT CREATORS · MMXXVI

For content creators.

Building for LeLutka heads? Start here.

.01

What kits are available?

Two paths, depending on where you are.

starter kit. Free, no application required. Available on our Content creators page. For people learning the workflow, building a portfolio, or making textures for personal use.

Designer programme kits. Available after registration through our Discord. Two picks: 3D Paint and Rig. Designers pick one, the other, or both. The Standard role is auto-assigned to every approved designer, which grants access to the foundation files in #files-standard.

.02

Who is the starter kit for, and what can I make with it?

The starter kit is for anyone learning to make skins, makeup, lashes, or eye textures for LeLutka heads. New creators building toward an application, or anyone making textures for personal use.

You can make and sell:

  • Skin textures painted by you
  • Makeup, freckles, lashes, beauty marks, and other face textures
  • Eye textures (iris and sclera designs)
  • Tattoos and body art that use the EvoX UV

You cannot share, redistribute, or sell:

  • The female or male head mesh
  • The eye mesh
  • LeLutka-made HD makeup layers, lash references, or other LeLutka textures from the kit
  • The source files themselves (.psd, .spp)
  • Modified versions of any of the above

Every product made with this kit must be labelled as EvoX on the vendor image inworld or on the Marketplace main listing image. The text label is what is required.

.03

How do I become a registered LeLutka designer?

Apply through our Discord. Join the LeLutka server and follow the steps in the #register channel. Applications are reviewed by our team within a few days, not automatic.

To apply, we ask that you have:

  • An inworld store or Marketplace presence
  • At least eight distinct products for mesh heads in your store, relevant to the kit you are applying for. Colour or texture variants of the same item do not count.
  • A visible social media presence
  • Active for the last three months

If that sounds like you, apply. If it does not quite yet, come back when it does. We will still be here.

.04

Where do I find my kit files once I am approved?

In the Discord server, the kit files live in the FILES SHARING section of the channel list. If you cannot see that section, go to Channels & Roles at the top of the channel list and toggle it on.

Before you can download anything, you need to accept the Licence Agreement. Your approval message will direct you to the TOS channel where you can accept it.

.05

I am already registered. How do I request a different kit?

In the registration form on our Discord, press the Kit Upgrade button. You can request access to additional kits from there.

.06

What software do I need to work with the kit?

Substance Painter (version 2024 or later) or Photoshop. The kit's Substance Painter files were made with the 2024 version, so older releases may not open them. For 3D layers in Photoshop, only version 21.0.0 works, because Adobe removed 3D features in later releases. Flat painting still works in any modern Photoshop version.

For rigged work, Blender or Maya.

.07

Where can I share and promote my LeLutka-compatible work?

The Design District channel in our Discord is for LeLutka-compatible product announcements. To post:

  1. Go to Channels & Roles at the top of the channel list and answer the first question to assign yourself the posting role.
  2. When you post, add a title and at least one tag, such as makeup, skins, or lashes. The Post button stays inactive without both.
  3. Design District is for LeLutka-compatible work only. General store promotion unrelated to LeLutka content is not permitted and will be removed.

For software-specific technical questions, #district-chat is the right channel. Other designers there often answer faster than our team can.
